My Bio
I’ve considered myself a writer all of my life. I’ve written stories and poems ever since I was a kid.
I also grew up in a musical family, with a Dad who is a musician as well as a now-retired band director. So years later, I took that love of, and passion for music and the performing arts, and combined it with my love of writing, working on Entertainment features and interviews with recording artists, entertainers and celebrities.
I have been writing professionally for over 15 years. I have written news features, human interest features and business features as well as advertising copy, website copy, advertorials, and entertainment pieces and interviews.
I love to write, to effectively communicate and express through the written word. It is my desire that through reading what I have written, that the reader vividly experience what the article is about. In advertising writing, it is my desire to help the business owner promote their business as well as excite the reader into wanting to come in to your place of business for themselves and to do business with you.
As an Entertainment Writer, it's my passion for the performing arts and my desire to bring something fresh, new and personable to the art of writing about it, that drives me. A closet artist with a passion and love for the performing arts and music, I strive to bring a human, caring touch to interviews with artists and celebrities.
My goal is always to bring depth to a piece and to allow the reader a chance to see the more personal, human side of an artist, while always maintaining the utmost respect for the artist, allowing the reader a window into people they see and love on television, in movies, on Broadway or on stage. To bring to the reader a feeling of knowing an artist a little bit better and seeing them as a human being beyond the celebrity.
